Excise Commissioner Madhya Pradesh .Born on March 1 1913 S/O Rai Bahadur Tarachand kshetrapal Indian police. He was educated in Lahore and Nagpur University. Was married to Kanta Devi. He was appointed as District excise officer, Nagpur in 1937,Asst Commissioner excise M.P, 1945:- an officer of high caliber he made appreciable contribution for the prohibition campaign and development of excise department in the state, was appointed Excise Commissioner in 1956.Was a keen sportsman good at hockey, Tennis and badminton. His last posting was at Gwalior Madhya Pradesh where from he retired in the year 1968. An officer known for his honesty and integrity. He zealously saved every penny for the government exchequer. Despite multiple pressures, he did not compromise on his principles.
